Community Eye Care & Spectacle Distribution Campaign
The Lions Club of Pilimathalawa organized a comprehensive joint community eye care project at Shakthi Garment, providing free professional eye screenings for factory employees and local community members. Following the diagnostic assessments, customized prescription spectacles were distributed to individuals with uncorrected vision impairments, improving workplace safety, daily productivity, and visual health across the local community.

Title: Patient-Centered Healthy Breakfast Provision for Dialysis Patients
The Lions Club donated healthy breakfast meals to 40 patients undergoing treatment at the Kandy Kidney Dialysis Center. Prepared after directly consulting patients regarding their specific dietary preferences and restrictions, the initiative provided nutritious, appetizing meals that offered comfort and essential sustenance during their demanding clinical therapy.

Community Dry Ration Distribution for Vulnerable Families
The Lions Club distributed dry ration packs to 15 vulnerable families facing economic hardship. Containing essential food staples such as rice, pulses, and cooking oil, this targeted relief initiative helped alleviate immediate household hunger, ensuring basic nutritional support and easing financial pressure for 15 local households.

Donate Blood, Save Lives
The Lions Club, in collaboration with the Trincomalee Harbour Police, organized a Community Blood Donation Campaign to strengthen the national blood supply for patients needing lifesaving transfusions. To honor their contribution and promote environmental sustainability, every voluntary donor including police officers, local residents, and well-wishers was gifted a fruit tree sapling, successfully combining healthcare support with green community initiatives.

The Lions Club of Trincomalee Town, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Navy, conducted a Workplace Health Screening Programme for Road Development Authority (RDA) staff. The initiative provided essential health checks including blood glucose testing, blood pressure screening, and weight assessments focused on early detection of non-communicable diseases and raising preventative health awareness among public sector workers.

The initiative provided essential health checks including blood sugar testing, blood pressure monitoring, and weight measurements, focused on promoting preventive care, encouraging early detection of non-communicable diseases, and fostering health awareness among port employees.

Dibatic and medicle awareness for elderly home residents
A health checkup and awareness initiative was conducted at an elderly home to monitor residents' blood sugar levels and provide general medical assessments. The project offered personalized health screenings for diabetes, evaluated ongoing medical conditions, and educated elderly inmates on managing their health and nutrition in their daily lives.

An environmental and community service initiative was conducted at the Differently Abled School in Kandy, Sri Lanka, where volunteers planted a variety of trees across the school grounds. Organised to promote environmental sustainability and enhance the school’s natural surroundings, the project engaged students, educators, and community members in creating a greener, more accessible outdoor learning space tailored to the well-being of visually and hearing-impaired children.
